The Forest

See the cedar gaze at the
Rolling, rolling canopy sea
Waves break on the pecan tree
Sail toward the oak for me
Rivers, lakes, streems free
Toward the fragrant ocean flee
paintbrush peaks jut out, three
days: warm evenings,
beautiful key
Bright landscape serenity
Sleepy summer tranquility
I so miss the agility!
So send all the blue jays, I plea
