Poor Twisted Mind

I cry but no one is there,
Just an empty stare.
As I inhale
Cold air.

My blinded eyes can see,
The chaos in which I live.
Bring the pitiful to me
So my misery can set them free.

Ghosts haunt them with their sorrow,
And I willingly follow.
I kneel into the frozen light,
Which ruins the world tonight.

I feel their hearts, they are cold and white,
I tear my own, it’s cold as ice.
Deep inside,
It’s mine.

And I cried cause I was doomed.
Everything – and I – was cold and cruel.
It’s black in here, there is no sun.
There is no moon, there are no stars.

And I inhale
Cold air.
As I follow the frozen light,
Blindly, it leads me home tonight.
