The Legend Of Black Agnes
I was young and foolish as i remember,
searching for something, some kind of adventure.
I thought i was fearless, but i was only a fool.
Let me tell you the story about the cursed statue.
I spent a week in a village, the name i can't remember.
I went with some friends, in the early September.
We thought it'd be nice to spend there our vacation,
and when i heard about the legend, i couldnt resist the temptation.
They told me about a statue in the old graveyard.
Black Agnes the name, it stood not very far.
It was built for a girl who was lost in madness and sorrow
as she didnt live her days to see the tomorrow.
A beauty maiden, as they say she was,
but her luck was tough and love broke her heart.
She lost all sense of the world around
and the next day dead in her house she was found.
So they burried the body of her tortured soul
and there she lay in the ground so cold.
They made this statue in her memory.
A statue of a girl pretty as she.
But they say her statue is cursed and at night
her eyes glow red and it comes alive.
She seeks for revenge and if you're in her way
she grabs you alive with her to stay.
They say if you want to see her, all you have to do
is go infront of a mirror with candles two,
and chant her name thirteen times
and you will see her come out alive.
I laughed at the story, I just couldn't believe
how superstitious these people could be.
Cause the villagers are afraid to walk at night,
in fear that Black Agnes might be insight.
I told them this story was made up to scare.
So i challenged them that i would dare
to wake up the spirit of black agnes
and prove to them that it's just a legend.
So into a room with a mirror i went
and one candle i held in each hand.
I lit them up and sat them down
infront of the mirror without making a sound.
I closed the lights and stood in place,
facing the mirror, to play the game.
So thirteen times i chanted her name:
